Event Information

 

Headquarters

HQ is at Seagrave War Memorial Hall, Green Lane, Seagrave, LE12 7LU (Click here for directions)

The HQ will be open from 6am - There will be a covered area on the tarmac out front for the use of turbos etc. for warming up, if required.

As is often the case, please, no cycling shoes in the HQ, thank you!

 

Parking

Parking is available - you will be directed by marshals at the gate. It may be necessary to park competitors and spectators' vehicles separately, so please listen and comply with any directions you are given by our marshals. 

The tarmac area will be reserved for race officials who require ease of access/egress.

 

THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO PARKING AT THE START OR FINISH.

 

A shuttle service will transport any clothing or equipment back to the HQ from the start line at the owners’ risk.

LFCC accept no responsibility for any items lost or damaged, howsoever caused.

 

There will be a receptacle approximately 70yds from the start for the disposal of any gel wrappers, etc. Please respect the neighbourhood and make use of this.

 

 

The Course - Road Surface

Please be aware of the road surface at all times and ride accordingly. There are some potholes on the course.

 

 

Spectators

The course is predominantly on the A46, making spectating along much of the length difficult or impractical, however, there are some sections on quieter roads, particularly as the riders turn at Farndon for the return leg. The course map can be found here if you would like to plan out your day.

 

if you do venture out on course, please remember to give riders plenty of space when passing by Moving fully into the next lane, whether on single or dual carriageway. 

 

remember, according to CTT rules, as the event is under 100km, riders should not be preceded, accompanied, followed by, or in any way receive assistance from a motorised vehicle.

 

Also, if you're driving, please remember to park safely and responsibly - and please don't park on the time trial course itself.
